About Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W.
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is an ultra-compact single-board computer that packs surprising power into a tiny footprint. It uses a quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 processor (the same core family as the Pi 3) running at 1 GHz with 512MB of RAM, plus built-in 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth, all on a board only about the size of a stick of gum.
It is popular in India for space-constrained and low-power embedded projects: smart cameras, portable gadgets, IoT sensors, retro-gaming handhelds and anything that needs a real Linux computer in a minimal form factor. How to choose.
Choose the Pi Zero 2 W when size, weight and low power draw are the priority and you still want a real quad-core Linux computer with WiFi. It is ideal for embedded builds, cameras and portable gadgets where a full-size Pi would not fit.
If you need heavy performance, lots of RAM, Gigabit Ethernet or many USB ports, step up to the Pi 4 or Pi 5. If you only need simple microcontroller I/O rather than a full Linux OS, an Arduino or Pico may suit better. The Zero 2 W shines specifically in compact, connected, low-power roles.
Pair it with a 5V micro-USB power supply, a microSD card flashed with Raspberry Pi OS, and the adapters you need: mini-HDMI to HDMI for video and micro-USB OTG for USB devices. The GPIO header is not pre-soldered, so buy a 40-pin header (and solder it) if your project uses GPIO or HATs.

Does the Pi Zero 2 W come with a soldered GPIO header?
Standard Zero 2 W boards ship with the 40-pin GPIO footprint unpopulated, so you solder on your own header or wires. Some resellers sell a pre-soldered 'WH'-style variant. Check this listing, and if you need GPIO or HATs, plan to add and solder a header.
What connectors and adapters do I need?
It uses mini-HDMI for video (not full-size, so you need a mini-HDMI adapter or cable), a micro-USB OTG port for USB devices, a separate micro-USB port for power, and a mini CSI connector for the camera. Budget for these small adapters when ordering.
How much faster is it than the original Pi Zero W?
Considerably. The Zero 2 W has a quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1 GHz versus the single-core Zero W, giving roughly a 4-5x multi-threaded speed-up while keeping the same size, price bracket and 40-pin layout, so it is a strong drop-in upgrade.

Is storage included?
