Overview
About Wanptek WPS3010H 30V 10A Programmable DC Bench Power Supply.
The Wanptek WPS3010H is a compact, programmable switching DC bench power supply that outputs a fully adjustable 0-30V at 0-10A, for 300W of clean, regulated power. It is a favourite in Indian repair labs, electronics workshops and maker benches because it packs lab-grade features - encoder-knob adjustment, memory presets and PC control - into an affordable, lightweight switching design.
A bright 4-digit LED display shows voltage, current and power, and the fine/coarse encoder knob lets you dial in a setpoint precisely. It automatically switches between constant-voltage (CV) and constant-current (CC) mode, so you can bench-test a device or safely current-limit a charge with the same unit. A front USB port provides 5V fast charging.
Being a switching (not linear) supply, it stays small and cool, and the WPS series adds programmable memory groups and a USB/serial interface for computer or PLC control - useful for automated test setups and repeatable measurements.

Buying guide
How to choose.
Choose the WPS3010H if you need a single adjustable supply for general electronics work up to 30V/10A. The 300W ceiling and CC mode make it well suited to powering boards, driving loads and safely charging where you want a hard current limit. The programmable memory and PC interface are worth it if you run repeatable or automated tests.
Remember it is a switching supply, so it runs cool and light but has marginally more output noise than a linear bench supply - fine for the vast majority of digital, motor and general work, but if you need ultra-low-noise analog rails, weigh a linear unit. Voltage and current are set on the same encoder with coarse/fine digit selection.
Pair it with a good set of banana-plug test leads and crocodile clips, and a multimeter for verification. For the front USB port you just need a USB cable; for PC control use the bundled/serial interface and Wanptek's software.
FAQ
Common questions.
Is the WPS3010H a linear or switching power supply?
It is a switching (SMPS) design, which is why it is compact, light and efficient at 300W. That means slightly higher ripple/noise than a linear supply - excellent for digital, motor and general lab work.
Can I use it as a battery charger with a current limit?
Yes. Set the target charge voltage, then dial the current limit; the unit drops into constant-current mode and holds that current. Always know your cell's correct charge voltage and current before charging lithium packs.
Does it support computer control?
The WPS series includes a USB/serial interface for PC or PLC control and has programmable memory groups, so you can automate setpoints and log tests. Use Wanptek's software or a serial protocol.
Will it work on Indian mains?
Yes - it accepts AC 110V/220V, so it runs on standard 220-230V Indian mains. Confirm the plug/cable supplied and use a properly earthed socket.
What is in the box?
Typically the WPS3010H unit and mains power cord. Test leads and the PC-control cable may or may not be included depending on the seller - check the listing and add banana-plug leads if needed.
