About WS2812B Addressable RGB LED Strip 1m (60 LEDs, NeoPixel).
The WS2812B Addressable RGB LED Strip is one metre of 60 individually-controllable RGB LEDs - the parts most makers know as NeoPixels. Each WS2812B LED has a tiny driver chip built right inside the LED package, so you can set the exact colour and brightness of every single LED independently using just one data wire. This is what makes rainbow chases, colour gradients and reactive lighting effects possible.
The strip runs on 5V and uses a single-wire data protocol, so you connect just 5V, GND and one data pin (DIN) to your microcontroller. The FastLED and Adafruit NeoPixel libraries make animations easy on Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266 and Raspberry Pi Pico. This particular strip is the IP20 non-waterproof version, meaning it has no silicone coating - ideal for indoor projects and enclosures.
At around Rs 350 for a metre of 60 LEDs, it is the standard building block for ambient lighting, signage, wearables and status indicators. The strip can be cut between each LED at the marked copper pads and connected at either end via the pre-tinned pads or connectors.

How to choose.
Choose this 60-LED/metre IP20 strip for indoor addressable-lighting projects where you want per-pixel control - rainbows, chases, gradients and reactive effects. If your project will be exposed to moisture, buy an IP65/IP67 coated strip instead; this one has no waterproofing.
Plan your power: at full white each LED draws up to about 60mA, so a full metre of 60 LEDs can pull around 3.6A. For anything beyond a few LEDs, power the strip from a dedicated 5V supply (not the microcontroller's regulator) and connect grounds together. Adding a ~330 ohm resistor on the data line and a large capacitor across 5V/GND is good practice.
It is NeoPixel-compatible, so use FastLED or Adafruit NeoPixel on Arduino/ESP32, or flash WLED onto an ESP32/ESP8266 for a ready-made app-controlled setup. Mind the data direction - connect DIN at the arrow-marked input end of the strip.

Is this the same as a NeoPixel strip?
Yes. WS2812B is the chip Adafruit brands as NeoPixel, so this strip works with the Adafruit NeoPixel and FastLED libraries and with WLED firmware.
How do I wire it?
Connect 5V, GND and one data pin (DIN) from your microcontroller to the strip's input end (follow the arrows). A ~330 ohm resistor on the data line and a capacitor across 5V/GND are recommended.
How much power does it need?
Up to about 60mA per LED at full white, so roughly 3.6A for a full metre of 60 LEDs. Use a dedicated 5V supply for more than a handful of LEDs and share the ground with your board.
Is it waterproof?
No. This is the IP20 version with no coating, meant for indoor use. For outdoor or damp locations choose an IP65/IP67 coated strip.
Can I cut it to length?
Yes. Cut between any two LEDs at the marked copper pads. Each remaining segment still works, and you can solder wires to the pads at either end.
Which board can drive it?
Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266 and Raspberry Pi Pico all work. ESP32/ESP8266 with WLED is very popular for app- and voice-controlled lighting. Level-shifting the 3.3V data to 5V improves reliability on longer runs.
