Overview
About 18650 Battery Holder (Single/Dual Cell).
This plastic 18650 battery holder is the simple, solderless way to mount lithium cells in your project. The cell snaps into spring-loaded contacts, and solder tabs or pre-attached wire leads bring the positive and negative terminals out to your circuit, so you can swap cells without a spot welder.
Holders come in single-cell and dual-cell (2x) versions. In a dual holder the two bays are internally wired in series (giving ~7.4V nominal) or parallel depending on the model, letting you build small packs quickly for prototyping.
At around Rs 30 it is an inexpensive, reusable alternative to spot-welding nickel strip - ideal for breadboard projects, replaceable-battery designs and testing cells before you commit to a permanent pack.

Buying guide
How to choose.
Pick a single-cell holder for 3.7V (1S) projects and a dual holder for ~7.4V (2S series) or higher-capacity (2P parallel) builds - confirm the internal wiring of the dual model matches what you need. Spring contacts fit both flat-top and button-top cells.
Holders are best for prototyping and replaceable-cell designs. For a permanent, low-resistance, high-current pack, spot-welded nickel strip is better; holders add a little contact resistance that matters at high current draw.
Pair with 18650 cells (BOTBIT-PWR-10), a TP4056 charger (BOTBIT-PWR-09) for 1S charging, or a BMS for multi-cell packs. Add a boost/buck converter to get your target output voltage.
FAQ
Common questions.
Does a dual holder wire the cells in series or parallel?
It depends on the model. Series holders give ~7.4V (used for higher-voltage projects); parallel holders stay at 3.7V with double the capacity. Check the product's contact layout or listing before ordering.
Will it fit both flat-top and button-top cells?
Yes - the spring-loaded contacts accommodate both, though very short flat-top cells may fit a little loosely. Button-top cells seat most reliably.
Do I still need a BMS with a holder?
The holder only mounts the cells - it has no protection. For safe charging and to prevent over-discharge, use a TP4056 (1S) or a BMS matched to your cell count.
Can I charge cells while they are in the holder?
Yes, if you wire the holder's leads to a suitable charger for that cell count. For a single cell in a single holder, a TP4056 module works well.
What is in the box?
You receive the plastic holder(s) with contacts and either solder tabs or wire leads, per the configuration ordered. Cells are not included.
