It is a smart upgrade for small robotic arms, gimbals and legged robots where plastic-geared servos wear out. If loads are truly light and budget is tight, the SG90 still works.

Because it shares the SG90's mounting and connector, it drops straight into existing designs. For higher torque you would move up to a full-size MG996R, but that is much larger and heavier. Keep the load within the ~2 kg-cm rating for long life.
