The MAPBIRD Evo is a V-tail FPV plane kit built on the proven XUAV Talon / Mini Talon airframe, a 1300mm-class EPO aircraft widely used for long-range FPV and lightweight aerial mapping. The signature V-tail and slender, low-drag fuselage make it efficient in cruise, while the large internal fuselage volume swallows a generous battery, an autopilot, GPS and a survey or FPV camera. It is supplied as a kit, so you select and install your own power system, electronics and radio gear.

The molded EPO airframe uses two-piece plug-in wings joined by a carbon wing spar, which makes transport and field assembly straightforward and keeps the wing stiff in flight. With a typical 2814-class motor on a 4S pack it cruises efficiently for extended sorties, and the spacious bay lets builders fit PPK/RTK modules and mapping payloads for survey missions.
