It is based on the proven STM32F427 Cortex-M4 main processor at 168 MHz with a separate STM32F100 failsafe co-processor, delivering the same open-source flight-stack capability as the original Pixhawk reference design.

Its sensor package combines an L3GD20H gyroscope, LSM303D accelerometer/magnetometer, an MPU6000 IMU and an MS5611 barometer, which the firmware fuses for stable attitude, heading and altitude estimation. The board provides extensive I/O - multiple UARTs, CAN, I2C, SPI, SBUS/PPM input and 14 PWM outputs (8 main plus 6 aux) - and supports a MicroSD card for logging, a safety switch, buzzer and power module.
