The u-blox NEO-M9N GPS breakout with SMA connector is a high-quality, four-constellation GNSS board built around the 92-channel u-blox M9 positioning engine. Unlike older modules, the M9N concurrently tracks GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou for fast, robust ~1.5 m accuracy, and the SMA edition lets you fit any external active antenna of your choice for fixed installations, vehicles or enclosures. The breakout exposes both a Qwiic I2C connector and standard 0.1-inch UART pins, so it drops into breadboard prototypes and embedded designs alike.
The board carries a rechargeable backup battery that powers the receiver's RTC, cutting time-to-first-fix from about 24 seconds cold to roughly 2 seconds hot. It speaks NMEA, UBX and RTCM over UART or I2C, supports a 25 Hz update rate with four concurrent constellations, and tolerates extreme dynamics with a maximum altitude of 80,000 m and 500 m/s velocity rating. How many constellations can it track at once?
The 92-channel u-blox M9 engine concurrently tracks all four major systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou. Four-constellation reception greatly improves fix speed, accuracy and reliability versus older single- or triple-constellation receivers, especially in obstructed environments.
What accuracy and update rate does it offer?

Does it support RTK?

What is the backup battery for?

Can I use it on an I2C single-board computer?
