The LJI ZD680 is a larger 680mm foldable quadcopter airframe in 3K full carbon fiber, stepping up from the ZD550 to carry bigger propellers and heavier payloads for survey, mapping and aerial photography. The extra wheelbase gives more prop clearance and lift, making it suited to longer-endurance camera and sensor missions where stability and payload capacity outweigh the need for compactness. Like its sibling, it folds for transport and locks rigid in flight, and ships with a carbon-fibre landing skid.
The 680mm platform accepts 3508-class motors with 12-15 inch propellers, runs 30A-40A ESCs on 4S-6S batteries, and uses a reinforced 3mm bottom plate to handle the loads of a larger multirotor. Its foldable arms with tripod-style connectors collapse for travel, so a relatively large survey aircraft can still be carried to remote field sites and deployed quickly.
